Working Principle

The whole cryogenic ultrafine pulverizing system follows three core processing steps: pre-cooling embrittlement → high-speed ultrafine crushing → airflow closed classification & cold recycling.


1.Pre-cooling Stage: Raw materials are transported into sealed pre-cooling silo, liquid nitrogen continuously injects into silo to lower internal temperature, raw materials absorb cold energy until reaching own brittle critical temperature, elastic texture converts into crisp state which is easy to smash without high-temperature melting during crushing;


2.Crushing Stage: Pre-chilled brittle materials enter high-speed rotor crushing chamber, high-speed rotating tooth disc and blade produce continuous impact, friction and shear force, raw materials split into fine powder instantly under multi-direction mechanical force;


3.Classification & Cold Recycle: Mixed powder flows upward with circulating cold air into variable-frequency classifier; powder meeting target fineness is collected by cyclone separator and pulse dust collector; unqualified coarse powder drops back crushing cavity for secondary grinding; most residual cold gas is recycled to pre-cooling bin to realize energy-saving closed circulation.

Operation Precautions

1. Pre-operation Check

•Inspect all pipeline sealing of liquid nitrogen system before startup, confirm no refrigerant leakage; check fastening of rotor parts and intact of safety protective cover, prohibit startup with loose components;

•Operators must wear low-temperature resistant gloves, dust mask and protective goggles to prevent liquid nitrogen frostbite and powder inhalation injury; ensure workshop keeps good ventilation, especially for closed factory building with oxygen detection equipment online。


2. Running Control Points

•Feed raw materials gradually and uniformly, avoid excessive bulk feeding leading to cavity blockage; adjust liquid nitrogen inflow and rotor speed according to raw material property, never overload continuous operation over 12h without downtime inspection;

•Real-time monitor cavity temperature, for high-oil raw materials keep lower pre-cooling temperature to prevent raw material melting and bonding inside grinding chamber。


3. Post-use Maintenance

•Shut down equipment after empty running for 3min to clear residual powder inside cavity; disassemble quick-release parts and clean with soft brush, clean food-grade model with neutral disinfectant after each batch of pharmaceutical/food production;
