Xingshengwei is a manufacturer and supplier of professional Pyrolysis Carbon Ultrafine Pulverizer in China. We adopt a high-speed mechanical impact design and combine air classification technology to specifically handle the recovered carbon black from the thermal decomposition of waste tires and plastics.
The Pyrolysis Carbon Ultrafine Pulverizer (XSW Series) is specifically configured for the processing of recycled carbon black derived from waste tire and plastic pyrolysis.
Crude pyrolysis carbon is often abrasive, contains residual oil, and has a very low bulk density (fluffy). Traditional grinders suffer from rapid wear and internal clogging. The Starwin Mill XSW system uses a high-speed mechanical impact design with integrated air classification to reduce crude char (1-10mm) down to a consistent D97 of 325 to 1250 mesh.
Real-World Engineering Solutions for rCB
A. Extreme Wear Resistance
Pyrolysis carbon is highly abrasive to standard steel. Our Pyrolysis Carbon Ultrafine Pulverizer features:
●Hardened Alloy Hammers: The rotor is equipped with specialized impact heads treated with tungsten carbide or high-chromium alloys.
●Replaceable Liners: The internal grinding chamber is lined with wear-resistant plates that can be easily replaced, significantly extending the service life of the main host.
B. Managing Oil Residue & Thermal Stability
If the pyrolysis process wasn't 100% complete, the carbon may contain residual oils. Friction heat in standard mills can cause this oil to soften, leading to "pasting" on the classifier wheel.
●The Starwin Solution: We utilize a high-volume negative pressure air-conveying system. The massive airflow flash-cools the carbon during the grinding process, keeping temperatures low enough to prevent sticking and ensuring a free-flowing final powder.
C. Precision Classification
Carbon black is notorious for clogging screens. Our pulverizer is screen-less. It uses a horizontal or vertical air classifier. By adjusting the RPM via a VFD, you can precisely control the particle size distribution. Particles that are too coarse are automatically rejected by centrifugal force and returned for re-grinding.
D. Explosion-Proof & Dust-Free Design
Fine carbon dust is both a health hazard and a combustible risk.
●Total Enclosure: The entire line operates under negative pressure, meaning dust cannot escape.
●Pulse-Jet Recovery: We use antistatic filter bags in our pulse dust collector to safely recover 99.9% of the fine rCB powder while maintaining a clean workshop environment.

Technical FAQ
1: How do you handle the low bulk density of pyrolysis carbon during feeding?
A: We equip the Pyrolysis Carbon Ultrafine Pulverizer with a specialized bridge-breaking agitator in the hopper and a frequency-controlled screw feeder to ensure a steady, non-pulsing feed of the "fluffy" carbon material.
2: Can this machine reach 1250 mesh (D97 ≈ 10μm)?
A: Yes. By maximizing the classifier speed and optimizing the air-to-material ratio, the XSW series is highly efficient at reaching the superfine grades required for rubber and plastic masterbatch applications.
3: Is the machine antistatic?
A: Absolutely. Carbon black is conductive and potentially explosive. We provide full system earthing (grounding) and antistatic filter media in the dust collector to ensure safe operation.
